The indices are recovering with Nifty around 11,700, Sensex flat; IT stocks under pressure
At 38,985.11, the Sensex is down 137.85 points, while Nifty is down 41.50 at 11,658.20 points. Approximately 244 shares have moved forward, 507 shares have decreased, and 28 shares remain unchanged.
ONGC, NTPC, M&M, Eicher Motors, Bharti Airtel and Oberoi Realty are significant index winners, while Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Indiabulls Housing, Yes Bank, Zee Entertainment, IndusInd Bank and Tech Mahindra are the losers.
All other indicators are trading lower among industries, except energy, led by metal, auto, bank, IT, and FMCG.
