Mumbai: Vodafone Idea Ltd's shares on Monday fell almost 29 percent to record low after the firm recorded a wider net loss than anticipated for the June quarter. This was the fourth straight quarter when a loss was reported by the company.
The inventory reached an all-time low of 6.60 percent and dropped to 28.65 percent. The scrip was traded on BSE at 11.58 am at some 6.75, down from its previous closure by 27.46 percent. So far this year it has fallen by 70%.
Revenue dropped from a quarter ago to about $11.270 in crore revenue. The income gap was due to lower than expected average income per customer (ARPU), which went from 108 a quarter to 4 % quarter with the average subscriber base declining a quarter by nine percent.
