On Monday, WTI Crude oil prices rose by 0.8 percent to close at $54.9 per barrel. Prices were pressurized considering the global slowdown concerns. Declining global economic growth might hamper the demand prospects for Crude.

The prolonged tension between U.S. & China doesn’t seem to ease off as U.S. President Donald Trump said last week that he was not ready to strike any deal with China and the round of talks to be held in September were doubtful. Rising tension between two of the biggest oil consumers might weigh on the prices
