Market Opens: As Nifty fell below 10,850, it is an adverse beginning for the Indian indicators on the first day of the week.
The Sensex is down 465.38 points or 1.25% at 36652.84 at 09:16 hrs IST, and the Nifty is down 141.90 points or 1.29% at 10855.50.
Approximately 183 shares have moved forward, 720 shares have decreased, and 36 shares remain unchanged.
ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Britannia, Bajaj Finance, Hero Motocorp, DHFL, Equitas Holding, LIC Housing, Union Bank of India and Indiabulls Housing are some of the main index gainers.
All industry indicators are PSU bank, metal, auto, energy, FMCG, infra and IT-led red trading.
