According to an exchange filing on Tuesday, Mukesh Ambani’s stake in Reliance Industries (RIL) has increased to 48.87% pursuant to a scheme of arrangement.

Mukesh Ambani and his private firms held 47.29% stake as on June 30, 2019, in the company, the company said in the filing.

Reliance Services and Holdings, a private firm of Mukesh Ambani said that it has acquired 2.71% stake, or 17.19 crore shares, on September 13, 2019, pursuant to a scheme of arrangements.  

The additional stake was acquired by Reliance Services and Holdings (controlled by Petroleum Trust, part of the promoter group), it added. The market value of RIL on Tuesday was Rs7.58 trillion.

Reliance Industries Ltd ended at Rs1,197.20 down by Rs13.6 or 1.12% from its previous closing of Rs1,210.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs1,214.80 and touched a high and low of Rs1,214.80 and Rs1,193.70 respectively. A total of 73,84,470 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs7,58,919.83cr.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs10 touched a 52 week high of Rs1,417 on 03-May-2019 and a 52 week low of Rs1,017 on 25-Oct-2018. Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs1,239.95 and Rs1,188.50 respectively.
