SBI Mutual Fund (SBI MF) said that it has increased stake from 4.83% to 6.29% in NIIT Ltd. SBI Mutual Fund under its various schemes has acquired shares of above 5% of the paid-up shares capital of NIIT Ltd.

The holding of SBI Mutual Fund, under its various schemes, as at close of business hours on September 18, 2019, was 1.05cr shares which are around 6.29% of the paid-up share capital of the company, the company said in the filing.

NIIT Ltd ended at Rs89.10 up by Rs1.15 or 1.31% from its previous closing of Rs87.95 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs89.10 and touched a high and low of Rs89.10 and Rs89.10 respectively
