The company announced that the QIP Committee meeting held on Sep 7 approved the allotment of 1,47,05,882 Equity Shares of face value Rs10/- each to the eligible Qualified Institutional Buyers at issue price of Rs612/share i.e. at premium of Rs602/share aggregating to Rs899,99,99,784/- pursuant to the Issue.

The issue opened on September 3, 2019 and closed on September 6, 2019. Pursuant to the allotment of equity shares in the Issue, the paid-up Equity Share capital of the Company stands increased from Rs273,98,28,380/- consisting of 27,39,82,838 Equity Shares of face value of Rs10/- each to Rs288,68,87,200/- consisting of 28,86,88,720 Equity Shares of face value Rs10/- each, the company mentioned in its filing.
Varun Beverages Ltd is currently trading at Rs616.80 down by Rs14.75 or 2.34% from its previous closing of Rs631.55 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs625 and has touched a high and low of Rs625 and Rs608 respectively. So far 22,036 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs17,303.39cr.
