Sonata Software posted an increase in net profit by 18% to Rs75.86cr in the quarter ended December 2019 as against Rs64cr during the previous quarter ended December 2018.
The company’s sales also rose 46.6% to Rs1,236.88cr in the quarter ended December 2019 as against Rs843.96cr during the previous quarter ended December 2018.
The company’s international IT services business reported revenues of Rs330cr, up 6% sequentially and the domestic business grew 129% sequentially, with revenue of Rs912cr.
Srikar Reddy, Managing Director & CEO of the Company said- “The continued growth in revenues and profits have been the result of our focus on being a digital transformation partner through our unique proprietary Platformation methodology and our strategy of IP led differentiation, focus on verticals like Retail, Distribution, Consumer Packaged Goods, Independent Software Vendors, Commodity and Service industries and investment in new technologies. We believe Platformation is now mainstream for Sonata as we continue to see increased traction in the market with the addition of new marquee clients and a strong pipeline.”
Sonata Software Ltd is currently trading at Rs346.30, up by Rs4.55 or 1.33% from its previous closing of Rs341.75 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs340.10 and has touched a high and low of Rs349.20 and Rs338.35 respectively.
