- Sensex gains 100 points over 11,950; Indiabulls Housing profits 4%
Market opens: it's a flat beginning for the Indian indices on July 4 ahead of the July 5 Union budget.
The Sensex is up 66.64 points at 39905.89 at 09:17 hrs IST, while Nifty is up 22.50 at 11939.30. Approximately 440 shares have moved forward, 245 shares have decreased, and 29 shares remain unchanged.
Infosys, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Allahabad Bank, ONGC, Indiabulls Housing, UPL, Eicher Motors, Yes Bank, Axis Bank, Dr Reddy's Lab, Tata Motors and Hero Motocorp are among the main index winners, while Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco, Titan and Wipro are the losers.
Among the industries, while selling seen in the metal index, PSU bank resulted in the gainers followed by IT, pharmaceutical and auto.
