Sensex drops 400 pts, Nifty breaks 11,700 after the budget ;
Benchmark indices dropped significantly in the morning after Budget 2019 opening tick and in the midst of weak Asian indications. The Sensex dropped to 39,262.94 points by 250.45 points and the Nifty50 dropped to 11,725.60 points.
Nifty Midcap's 200 points down.
Mindtree, Biocon, Yes Bank, Jain Irrigation, PC Jeweller, Suzlon Energy, Motherson Sumi, Apollo Tyres and Adani Enterprises dropped 2-6 percent.
Yes Bank said the board meeting on July 17 will take place to consider and approve the bank's unaudited economic outcomes for the quarter ended June 30th, 2019.
