Piramal Enterprises is trading 1% down after the company announced yesterday that it has decided to defer its plan to issue NCDs to a later date.
The company's filing on the BSE stated, "...We wish to inform you that at the Meeting of Administrative Committee of the Board of Directors held today, the Committee has decided to defer the issue of privately placed NCDs aggregating upto Rs3000cr (including an option to retain over-subscription of upto Rs2,500cr) to a future date."
No details regarding the reason for the deferment were provided by the company.
Piramal Enterprises Ltd is currently trading at Rs1,876.55 down by Rs18.8 or 0.99% from its previous closing of Rs1,895.35 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs1,870 and has touched a high and low of Rs1,882.05 and Rs1,836.20 respectively. So far 3,31,569 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs37,697.34cr.
