Eveready Industries shares are down ~5% after the company denies reports of Duracell purchasing its businesses.

The company in its filing said, "As a part of business strategy, various strategic options, joint ventures, commercial arrangements involving the Company are evaluated and considered from time to time. However, as of this time, no definitive decision around any such possible option(s) has been made by the Company, which requires disclosure under the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015."

Eveready Industries India Ltd is currently trading at Rs67 down by Rs3.5 or 4.96% from its previous closing of Rs70.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs67.55 and has touched a high and low of Rs70.75 and Rs67 respectively. So far 2,50,488 (NSE+BSE) shares were traded on the counter. The current market cap of the company is Rs512.39cr.
