Shares of Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) rose over 2% after the Ministry of Railways revised the tariff of standard meals on static units over Indian Railways.
The company has also signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hotel and Restaurant Association of Northern India (HRANI), the company said.
“Ministry of Railways vide its Commercial Circular No. 64 of 2019 and Letter No. 2015/TG 111/33/11 dated 12th December 2019 (Received on December 23, 2019) has revised the Tariff of Standard Meals on Static Units over Indian Railways. Copy of the Ministry of Railway's circular is being enclosed,” the company said in the filing.
Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Ltd is currently trading at Rs884.50, up by Rs20 or 2.31% from its previous closing of Rs864.50 on the BSE.
The scrip opened at Rs886.90 and has touched a high and low of Rs889 and Rs875.80 respectively.
